E. Sylton Safe
As of 1st of January 2025 all OBSERV 320 & OBSERV 502X devices will include free Sylton Connect memberships based on data usage, rather than time limits.
Here’s what clinics need to know:
Free Sylton Connect Membership: Every new OBSERV device will come with free access to the Sylton Connect platform, allowing clinics to fully use tools like the Catalogue Manager, the Sylton Connect Portal, and the Brand Library. The free membership will remain active until the clinics reaches 5 GB of data storage on the Sylton Safe Cloud.Unlimited Functionality:Even with the free membership, clinics will have full access to all Sylton Connect features, ensuring they can manage their data and resources effectively from day one.
For Existing Users:Eligibility for Sylton Connect Membership:All existing users, including those who have not yet activated or used their free period, will still be eligible for Sylton Connect memberships. All previous shipped out OBSERVS with 1-year or 2-year free vouchers can still be claimed, and the same conditions as mentioned on the voucher apply. Current Free Periods:Clinics that are still within their 1-year or 2-year free periods will continue to enjoy full free access to all features and storage for the remaining duration of their free period. No action is needed on their part. For Users Exceeding 2 years: Users who have already benefited from two or more years of free Sylton Connect and cloud storage will transition to a paid plan starting March 1st, 2025, if their data usage exceeds 5 GB.
All data in the OBSERV 520X app and in the Sylton Cloud is encrypted and protected.
Sylton Safe ensures users to store clients data safely in the OBSERV 520X or OBSERV 320 app and in the cloud through state-of-the-art end-to-end encryption technologies. Sylton Safe is designed in such a way that it enables users to be GDPR compliance. These features ensure that data is securely encrypted and that a detailed record of all activities is maintained.

E.1. Claiming your free cloud
Follow the steps to claim your free cloud:1. Connect your iPad to WI-FI.2. Go App Home Page and then into settings in the OBSERV app. 3. Click on device options. 4. Click on the pop-up claim free cloud. 5. Follow the steps and fill out your company details. 6. Click claim.7. Press power button on device to claim free cloud.8. Check if your claim is successful: Settings > Sylton Connect > Cloud products.
E. 2. How to create an OBSERV/Sylton connect account
Once you have download the OBSERV app you will need to create login credentials 1. Type in your email and create your password, fill in all necessary details related to your account.2. You can now go to the website www.syltonconnect.com and enter the same login details, of the email and the password, to create your Sylton connect account. It is easier to edit on this platform than your iPad.
